Economic importance

Hannover Airport – a key economic location

An important economic location, Hannover Airport is one of the most dynamic motors for the Hannover region. As the second largest employer in Lower Saxony, around 8,800 people work at the airport itself. Across the country, as many as 30,000 jobs depend directly on the Airport's financial success.

An independent report confirms the importance of Hannover Airport as an economic motor. The study is available for downloading here.
