Sightseeing flights and flying schools
Hannover Airport is home to various aviation companies that offer charter services as well as sightseeing flights.
If you wish to acquire a pilot’s license, there is also a competent team of flying instructors to help you prepare for the necessary examinations.
As a qualified pilot, you can charter planes and helicopters at Hannover Airport and rub shoulders with other flying enthusiasts.
From the A7 (Hamburg-Kassel) and A2 (Berlin-Dortmund) motorways, you can reach the airport site via the A352 link road or by taking the Langenhagen exit on the A2.

Traveling by taxi from the airport to Hannover Main Train Station costs approx. €30 and takes around 30 minutes. Tel.: +49 511 977-1505
The S5 Hannover Airport Line runs every 30 minutes and takes you directly from Terminal C to Hannover Main Train Station.
A single journey currently costs €3.40 and takes around 20 minutes.
Several well-known car rental companies are located in the car rental center on the arrivals level between Terminals A and B.
If you wish, one of the transfer services based at the airport will pick you up from the GAT and take you back to the airport again – reliably and inexpensively, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
A number of short-stay parking spaces (for up to 1 hour) are located directly in front of GAT 1. There are also a limited number of long-stay parking spaces (for 1 to 2 days) at GAT 1 for which you'll need a parking permit. You can obtain one from the service counter in GAT 1.
The multi-story car park 7 is available for longer stays. It's around 300 m or 5 minutes away on foot.
