Dr. Raoul Hille has been the sole Managing Director (CEO) of Hannover Airport since March 2004.   

In addition to his work as Managing Director at the Airport, Dr. Hille is also honorary Chairman of the Industrieclub Hannover and lecturer at the University of Hannover.

Born in Bremen, after studying Industrial Engineering and completing his doctorate, Dr. Hille began his professional career in 1989 with Deutsche Lufthansa’s Strategic Group Development in Cologne. Within the Group he was responsible in 1991 for managing a project company in Frankfurt, and in 1993 in Moscow he became General Director of the "Joint Venture Airport Moskau". In 1994 Dr. Hille was appointed Lufthansa Regional Director Westdeutschland based in Düsseldorf and from here he went in 1997 as Direktreport of the Executive Board in the Group Headquarters to Frankfurt as Head of Group Portfolio Management. In 1998 he became the Managing Director of the 100% Lufthansa subsidiary, GlobeGround, which provides ground handling services with more than 60 holding companies. Dr. Raoul Hille has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Start Amadeus in Bad Homburg since October 2000.
