For your safety the European Union has restricted the inclusion of liquids in hand luggage:
- Each individual liquids container may have a capacity of no more than 100 ml.
- Liquids containers must be placed in a re-closable transparent plastic bag with a volume of no more than 1 liter (approx. 20 cm x 20 cm) and must be presented separately at the control point.
- Liquid medication and special food (e.g. baby food) that are required during the flight may be carried on; the need for this must be explained and justified at the control points.
- Syrups, etc.
These regulations do not apply to liquids that are bought after the control points, in duty-free shops, for example.
You can buy the plastic bags in machines in all terminals for € 0.50.
