If someone is accompanying you or you don't require any further assistance, please go to your airline's check-in in good time, check in your luggage and walk/travel to the gate for your flight.
If you're using your own wheelchair, the check-in personnel will attach a baggage tag to it.
However, the wheelchair will remain in your possession until you reach the aircraft.
You can then go through the security checks with your wheelchair.
The wheelchair service team will collect you from the gate approximately half an hour before departure and take you and the person accompanying you to the aircraft door or your seat.
If you'd prefer to be picked up before the security checks so that our staff can accompany you from there, please go to a pick-up point. You'll find these in each terminal and on each level. For details of the nearest pick-up point, ask the check-in staff. They'll be happy to give you directions. Our staff will collect you from the pick-up point approximately half an hour before departure and accompany you to the gate or into the aircraft.
After you land at Hannover Airport, you'll be collected from the aircraft door or your seat by our wheelchair team.
If you're traveling with your own wheelchair, this will be available at the aircraft if possible.
If you wish, our staff will then accompany you to the baggage claim where you can pick up your luggage and then go through the customs area to your preferred exit (pick-up area, S-Bahn etc.).
