Due to the current high utilization of the parking garages, it may not be possible to use the parking spaces without prior reservation. We recommend reserving a parking space in advance. Please allow a little more time for your arrival without a reservation.

You can also park at Hannover Airport without prior reservation. Free parking spaces are very well signposted throughout the site. Standard prices apply.

FAQ's online booking for parking lots

Navigation

Hannover Airport is widely signposted on all main roads and highways in and around Hannover. A clear parking guidance system on site will take you directly to all parking areas.

If Hannover Airport is not available in your navigation software, please enter this address: Flughafenstraße 4, 30855 Langenhagen and follow the signs on site to your selected parking area. There is also an information parking lot directly on the access road for better orientation on site.

Pre-filled Google Maps arrival links are provided in the following overview map. Simply click on the relevant parking garage on the map, add the start address and you will be guided directly to the relevant parking garage.

Current information on parking at Hannover Airport

Parking lot P10 is open from May 15, 2025. Last exit possible on October 26, 2025. A reservation is required. Please note that this year you also need a reservation to park your vehicle with excess length/excess height or motorhome in parking lot P10.
Parking garage P4 is currently closed due to maintenance work until probably the end of 2026.
Parking service & Airport Service Center: Our parking service is located in the Airport Service Center on the Arrivals level in Terminal B and is open 24/7 to help you with your queries and requests. You can also contact Parking Service staff directly using the call points at the entrances and exits and at all pay machines. Alternatively, you can contact the Parking Service at any time by calling +49(0)511 977-0.
Pay machines & payment methods: You can pay your parking fee at the pay machines or in the Airport Service Center (Arrivals level, Terminal B). The pay machines accept cashless payments only: EC and credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, VISA). Cash payments are possible at the pay machine at the Airport Service Center arrival Hall B.
Luggage trolleys can be found at all parking garage entrances and exits, near pay machines as well as in front of all the terminal buildings. Deposit: €1.

Parking information

Free parking for up to 10 minutes in front of all terminals, and for up to 30 minutes in the parking garages

The parking zones in front of the terminals allow you to park free of charge for up to 10 minutes to drop off or pick up passengers. Alternatively, you can use parking garages 1 and 3 which are located opposite the terminal buildings. The first 30 minutes are free of charge.

The automatic license plate recognition occurs when you enter the parking zone, which means that the parking time is billed precisely.

Barrier-free parking

For free use of the disabled parking spaces in front of the entrances on the departures level and on the arrivals level for a maximum of 3 hours, please send your vehicle registration number and a copy of your orange or blue parking permit to support@mh-parkservice.de. Alternatively, please contact the Airport Service Center on the arrivals level of Terminal B.

There are disabled parking spaces near the exits in all parking garages. They can only be used with an orange or blue European parking permit, which must be visibly displayed in the vehicle. A disabled badge alone is not sufficient to use a disabled parking space.

As a holder of a severely disabled person’s permit with a parking permission, you will receive a discount of €19 on the total price of the regular parking fee. To claim this discount, please send an email to parken@hannover-airport.de with a copy of the front and back of your parking permit.

Charging option for your electric vehicle

Depending on availability, electric charging stations operated by enercity AG are available in parking garage 1 and 3.

Parking in spaces equipped with charging stations is only permitted in connection with charging. The access is via the departure level. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a charging point in advance. The electricity is sold via enercity AG, separate from the parking fee.

DC fast-charging park
You can now also charge your electric car at Enercity's DC fast-charging park at parking garage 2. There are eight fast charging points at four double charging stations with up to 400 kW charging power available to the public. You can pay with all common charging cards. Tip! The cheapest charging price is available when using the enercity easyGo app.

In addition to the charging infrastructure, customers can also use the charging lounge, where they can spend time in an exclusive atmosphere while charging. Seating, sockets for charging your cell phone or laptop free of charge, snacks and drinks can be purchased on site. Access to the lounge is also via the EasyGo app.

The charging park is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
